John Deren is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Teleflex.
John Deren is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Teleflex. He has had a wide-ranging set of responsibilities within the Teleflex Finance organization since joining the company in 2013 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. During his tenure, he has had executive oversight of various functions within Finance, including Corporate Finance, Finance Shared Services, Global Supply Chain Finance, Treasury, and Tax. He was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2025.
Prior to joining Teleflex, John was Vice President and Global Controller of Trinseo, a global specialty materials company. From June 2009 to December 2010, John was the Assistant Controller of Exelon Generation, one of the world’s largest producers and wholesale marketers of power. From 2004 to 2009, John was the Assistant Controller of Rohm and Haas Company until its acquisition by the Dow Chemical Company in 2009. At Rohm and Haas he had oversight of the Company’s global consolidation, external reporting, and all technical accounting matters.
John has over 30 years of financial management and reporting experience for public companies. He began his career and obtained his CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the assurance practice holding positions of increasing responsibility through Senior Manager with a focus on public debt and equity offerings and acquisitions.
He is a graduate of Drexel University and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
