Peripheral Nerve Block image

With the ARROW StimuCath, Teleflex now provides the first continuous stimulating nerve block catheter, which means it confirms positive placement of the catheter next to the nerve via stimulation. StimuCath technology is able to reduce the risk of secondary block failure while improving pain management for the patient.
Newly designed FlexBlock peripheral nerve block catheterisation sets complement our PNB program, providing clinicians with a stimulating needle, and the option of ultrasound techniques for both needle and catheter. The catheter is the well known FlexTip Plus catheter.

StimuCath and Flexblock Catheters are also highly echogenic, and provide enhanced visualisation through ultrasound-guided insertion procedures.

The ARROW StimuQuik improves the accuracy of single-shot peripheral anaesthesia delivery by enhancing control and manoeuvrability during needle positioning. We now offer a complete range of single-shot anaesthesia sets - for stimulation only, for stimulation and ultrasound combined (StimuQuik), and for ultrasound only (UltraQuik).
Epidural Catheter image

A two-fold benefit can be achieved with our RÜSCH EpiStar when puncturing the epidural space: reduction of puncture trauma and, at the same time, higher flow-rates, extending your pain management possibilities. This can be obtained because the needle has a 18 Ga. small outer diameter, while the EpiStar catheter has an interior lumen like that of a standard 16 Ga. catheter.

The RÜSCH EpiStar CSE is the ideal way of combining spinal and epidural anaesthesia. Catheter and spinal needle are introduced at the same time into the patented EpiStar CSE Tuohy needle.

ARROW's clinician-inspired FlexTip Plus is designed to reduce complications in the epidural space. It provides excellent kink resistance, catheter radiopacity and tensile strength with a soft flexible tip to reduce the risk of paraesthesia and inadvertent penetration of blood vessels.

FlexTip Plus is now available in two different set configurations – one includes a FlexTip Plus catheter with an open distal end and without lateral holes, and the other a FlexTip Plus Multi Port catheter with a closed distal end and four side holes.

We can offer different tip designs of our RÜSCH SpinoStar for spinal anaesthesia, which is the most frequently used procedure in vicinity of the spinal cord. Greater safety is provided by the SpinoStar BallPen needle which only penetrates as deep as absolutely necessary, indicating by a clearly noticeable “click” the needle’s correct position. The proven spinal needles SpinoStar Pencil Point OPTI and SpinoStar Standard complete the range.

The ambIT Ambulatory Pain Control Systems from Summit Medical provide the most flexible, accurate and safe therapy-specific configurations and the lowest cost-in-use infusion pumps and accessories for the management of post-operative pain.
