Historia de Teleflex

Uma das perguntas que muitas vezes nos colocam é: «O que significa o nome Teleflex?» A empresa nasceu em 1943 com apenas um simples produto – um cabo helicoidal multifios e uma engrenagem que conseguia converter movimentos de empurrar-puxar em movimentos rotativos. Utilizou-se pela primeira vez em aviões Spitfire na Segunda Guerra Mundial como um cabo flexível para ajustar o rádio do piloto, que estava localizado atrás do cockpit e fora do alcance do piloto. O cabo flexível era utilizado telescopicamente para ajustar o rádio, daí nasceu o nosso nome.

Ao longo do tempo, a Teleflex cresceu a partir de uma empresa concessionária focada na engenharia e tornou-se uma empresa industrial diversificada, que evoluiu para uma empresa exclusivamente de dispositivos médicos.
