Arrow-Clark VectorFlow Hemodialysis Catheter

Designed for Performance

Designed for optimum performance, The Arrow-Clark VectorFlow Catheter is a symmetrical tip tunneled hemodialysis catheter that is designed to reduce loss of lock solution, give sustained high flows and reduce the risk of thrombus accumulation due to platelet activation resulting from shear stress. Available in both retrograde and antegrade insertion platforms, the catheter is easy to place without the need for a stylet. Catheter tip design allows for placement flexibility with minimal impact on recirculation.1, 2

  • Tip design optimizes catheter flow and minimizes recirculation
  • Sidehole design reduces the loss of lock solution2, a contributing factor in reducing the risk of thrombus adherence3
  • Catheter tip design reduces the risk of platelet damage caused by shear stress2, helping to reduce the risk of thrombus accumulation on catheter surface4

CATHETER MATERIAL

No stylet needed for insertion, resulting in fewer steps when compared to catheters requiring a stylet

SIDEHOLE DESIGN

Optimizes catheter flow and reduces loss of lock solution, a contributing factor in reducing risk of thrombus adherence2

MINIMAL RECIRCULATION

Deflects venous blood away from the catheter, in a direction opposite to blood entering the catheter in arterial lumen

SYMMETRICAL TIP

  • Allows for ease of placement over guidewire
  • Allows reversal of lumens without increase in recirculation2
  • Catheter tip design reduces the risk of platelet damage caused by shear stress2, helping to reduce the risk of thrombus accumulation on catheter surface4
