Pronto Extraction Catheters

Pronto Extraction Catheters are designed for removal of thrombus. The uniformly large extraction lumen offers thrombus extraction with enhanced kink resistance. Each version of the Pronto Catheter features the patented Silva distal tip, designed to center the catheter tip during insertion and extraction.

Low-profile aspiration

The Pronto LP Extraction Catheter has a low, 0.053” crossing profile for use in vessels ≥1.5 mm in diameter.

  • Two versions available for both 5 and 6 Fr. guide catheters
  • PTFE lined guidewire lumen for smooth movement and rapid exchange catheter delivery over a 0.014” guidewire
  • Sloped extraction lumen accommodates larger thrombi
  • Distal hydrophilic coating for lubricious delivery and smooth navigation
  • Preloaded stylet can easily be removed for aspiration through a separate port, and offers pushability and kink resistance during delivery

Pronto .035" Extraction Catheter

10 Fr. power in aspiration

A complete system for the rapid removal of thrombus from vessels of the peripheral arterial or deep venous system greater than 4 mm in diameter.

  • Maximized thrombus aspiration with rate control —unobstructed aspiration lumen with an in-line roller clamp to control the rate of aspiration
  • Braid reinforced extrusion ­— resists kinking over entire length of catheter and increases tip control
  • 120˚ angle with 4 cm tip ­— enhances steerability and vessel selection and allows for rotational control of aspiration lumen in large vessels
  • Easy over-the-wire delivery — compatible with standard 0.035” guidewires
  • 10 Fr. sheath compatible

The Pronto LP Catheters are indicated for the removal of fresh, soft emboli and thrombi from vessels in the coronary and peripheral system. The Pronto .035" Catheter is indicated for the removal/aspiration of embolic material (thrombus/debris) from vessels of the arterial system, the removal/aspiration of embolic material (thrombus/debris) from vessels of the deep venous system, and to infuse/deliver diagnostic or therapeutic agents.
